How do I upload my site?
To FTP your site, we recommend CuteFTP.
1- Download the standard shareware version at
www.cuteftp.com .
2- Install it
3- Insert the following information using the
'connection wizard'
ISP - doesn't matter - use other
Label - (enter your domain name here - ie.
- www.kobweb.net)
FTP Host address - (enter your domain name
here - ie. - www.kobweb.net)
User name - (enter the FTP user name
emailed to you when website was setup)
Password - (enter the FTP password emailed
to you when website was setup)
Local directory - browse to where your
website is located on your harddrive
Finish and you should connect
4- The local copy of your website is on the left and the web server is
on the right. 5- Drag and
drop all website files and folders on the left over to the right. Your
first page must be called index.html or index.htm or index.shtml.
6- Test your website in a browser.
The next time you start CuteFTP, use the 'Site Manager' and you will see
your settings saved as your domain name. Just highlight and press
connect. You only need to upload the files you change after the first
time. If you need your FTP user
